We want to develop the premier software for bibliography management. Thereby, we strictly base on the BibTeX format.

We acknowledge that not everyone in the world has enough other resources to work for no money. Thus, our main goal for donations is to pay creative people to support JabRef. This ranges from artists to developers implementing certain features.
