I'd probably describe myself as a conceptual artist, heavy on the concepts.

I've been a working artist for quite a few years now creating small works that actively engage the viewers. People watching people. Self-surveillance I used to call it -- I still do. The focus on 'me' is incredibly powerful for people.

How do I work?

Initially, I create a lot of tangential and tangible works during the process of building a concept work. Then I move towards sketching out how to build large, beautiful, ironic , interactive installations that use people/visitors/art lovers as the data input.

What am I doing here?

I am looking for patrons who can invest in a long term philosophical approach to funding experimental art. I have always completed works entirely by myself, but I find that there is so much to manage that I need good people to work with me on larger ideas, more complex projects need a budget and technical help.

Why?

Everything is moving fast now and a community of people with a budget means I can complete work when it matters. I adore technology and the planet. We, the people, are running the world according to us. We are running each other, according to our will. This fascinates me, it disrupts my quiet thoughts.

Working with a budget is a huge benefit to completing work that has relevance.
